Many members reside in Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) estates and work in sectors like healthcare, reflecting the club’s deep integration into the local social fabric.

The club’s efforts have been recognized and supported by organizations like the NIHE, Newry and Mourne, Down District Council ,Northern Ireland Executive T buc , Radius Housing ,which commended the club for promoting positive race relations and contributing to the vision of a peaceful, inclusive, and fair society. By creating spaces for cultural expression and dialogue, the Newry Indian Arts Club plays a crucial role in enhancing community cohesion and celebrating diversity in Newry.
